Certified Angus Beef Program Launches New Podcast
USAgNet - 04/16/2026
Ever wondered how Certified Angus Beef (CAB) got its start--or how the brand continues to drive demand for Angus genetics today? The CAB Bite podcast will answer those questions and more. In 20 minutes or less, listeners will get an extra "bite" of news,
insights and practical takeaways. The podcast launched in April, with the first three episodes now available.
Podcast host, and CAB director of producer communications, Lindsay Graber Runft welcomes guests from the brand and across the beef community to talk about all things CAB and high-quality beef production.
New episodes will be launched on an ad hoc basis, as part of the brand's growing communications efforts to connect cattle producers with valuable news and information. The short-form podcast aims to give the beef community an up-close, behind-the-scenes
look at CAB and its supply chain.
CAB president, John Stika and American Angus Association chief executive officer, Mark McCully, are among the first podcast guests, with podcast topics covering the brand's inception, CAB's live animal specification and international production in Uruguay.
The CAB Bite podcast can be found at www.CABcattle.com/podcast and on all major podcast platforms.
