U.S. Tractor, Combine Sales Fall During March

According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturer's monthly "Flash Report," the sale of all tractors during March 2025, in the U.S. were down 14% from the same month last year.
Agri Marketing magazine reports that during March, a total of 16,180 tractors were sold which compares to 18,724 sold in 2024.
For the month, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) were down 14% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP were down 10%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP were down 19%, while 4-wheel drive tractors were down 20%.
Combine sales in March totaled 241 down 38% from last year.
For the year, tractor sales were down 15%. Smaller tractors (under 40 HP) are down 14%, while 40 and under 100 HP are down 13%. Sales of 100+ HP are down 22%. Sales of 4-wheel drive tractors are down 35%.
Combine sales totaled 522 through February which is 57% below 2024.
