Tractor, Combine Sales Fell in July

According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturer's monthly "Flash Report," total sales of all U.S. tractors during July 2024 were 18,479, down 14% from 2023.
Agri Marketing magazine reports that for the month, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) were down 18% from last year, while 40 & under 100 HP were down 6%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP were down 19%, while 4-wheel drive tractors
were up 19%.
Total number of combines sold for the month were 639, down 19%.
For the year, two-wheel drive smaller tractors (under 40 HP) are down 14% from 2023, while 40 & under 100 HP are down 8%. Sales of 2-wheel drive 100+ HP are down 7%, while 4-wheel drive tractors are up 5%.
Total number of combines sold for the year are 3,314 a decrease of 18% over the same period in 2023.
