Retail Gasoline Shows Upward Trend

The price of retail gasoline in Iowa rose $.05 this week, closing at $2.19 per gallon. National retail gasoline prices rose $.03, ending the week at $2.26 per gallon.
The price of global crude oil rose this week on the West Texas Intermediate (WTI) by $.45 per barrel over last week, and is currently priced at $45.75.
Brent crude oil was up $.05 and is currently priced at $48.06.
One year ago WTI crude sold for $46.80 and Brent crude was at $46.72.
